Seventy-five years of refractory ceramics, engineered to order.
SELEE® Advanced Ceramics® has been manufacturing high-quality custom refractory products for more than 75 years. We produce cost-effective ceramic refractory shapes for a wide variety of heat-treating and investment-casting applications — and we've built our reputation by being innovative and customer-oriented in equal measure.

From the foundry floor to the firing kiln.
We started supplying refractory shapes to a handful of American foundries and have since grown into a leading supplier of crucibles, ladles, spouts, and ram materials to the investment-casting industry — a business we've been in for more than 40 years.
Along the way our product line expanded into thermal processing — high-temperature firing of ceramics, calcining of powders, sintering of powder-metal components — and into the art-glass world with our round-bottom and straight-wall glass crucibles. The constant across all of it: high-temperature firing of our parts dramatically reduces inclusions, lengthens campaigns, and improves the quality of whatever our customers are making.
What hasn't changed in 75+ years: if we don't have a part that meets your needs, we design one. Talk to sales and we'll engineer a new part to fit your application.
